Android Game Milk My Milk Squirts Fun!

Have you ever wondered what it would be like if the life of a dairy farmer was blended with the world of Android gaming? Wonder no longer! Developer fiCode has your answer in their latest game called Milk My Milk.

In Milk My Milk, players must milk the cow as fast as possible by tapping on its udders. Every once in a while a little fly will buzz across the screen and by tapping on the fly, players can kill it and earn themselves a little extra time to continue milking. The game ends when the timer runs out, so tap furiously!

While Milk My Milk is a relatively simple and straight-forward game, fiCode did a good job enhancing it by adding global leaderboards powered by Swarm. The leaderboards give players a way to compare their scores against their friends and the world.

This goofy little free Android game is definitely worth checking out. Fire up Google Play and give Milk My Milk a try!

GemDrop Shines on Android

GemDrop Free and GemDrop DX by Sturdy Helmet Games are a pair of shiny new physics-based puzzle games for Android. The goal of GemDrop is to help Marty the Mole collect giant piles of precious jewels by capturing them in a minecart. As the gems fall into the cart they bounce around in a very realistic way thanks to the game's physics engine. As the cart fills up with gems, inevitably gems of the same color come into contact with one another and the explosions that occur are brilliant to watch.

The control scheme for the cart is incredibly well done and delightfully intuitive. Players can either tilt their device left and right to move the cart, or they can simply tap and drag the cart to the desired position. This comes in handy as the gems start to fall ever faster and players have to franticly do whatever they can to keep the jewels in the cart.

Both GemDrop Free and GemDrop DX feature a host of power ups and two challenging game modes. The game's crisp grapics and smooth frame rates thanks to LibGDX. We're also incredibly excited to mention that the game's 16 unique acheivements and global leaderboards are powered by Swarm, the Android game developer's swiss army knife.

So what are you waiting for? Get out there and download GemDrop. Start collecting beautiful jewels and make Marty the Mole's day! Give the game a try by starting with GemDrop Free, and then show Sturdy Helmet Games some love and buy the full GemDrop DX.

ErnCon Goes Gold!

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- ErnCon, the top-down multiplayer space shooter by indie studio Woo Games, has gone gold. The one-month open beta has been a resounding success, resulting in several gameplay and interface improvements, new content, and sturdier game servers -- with nearly-invisible lag and improved stability.

“Furthermore, carefully listening to everyone’s feedback made ErnCon into a much better game -- an indie shooter the entire community can be proud of.”

But the good news doesn’t end here. To celebrate the launch, Woo Games will be giving away $1 in ErnCoins, the game’s in-game currency, to those who download ErnCon in the next two weeks. With the free in-game currency, players will be able to purchase premium content from the get go without spending actual money. Starting on April 4, new ErnCon players will get $0.50 in ErnCoins with every install.

Launch features:

•3 additional missions (total of 5 playable multiplayer missions at launch) -- FREE
•4 new weapons, 6 new "Elite" fighters and robots for expert players – also FREE
   •Achievements
   •Full tablet support
   •In-app purchases via Google Play
•Custom-colored fighters and robots available for in-app purchase
   •One-player Survival Mode
   •Survival Mode leaderboards

“Unleashing beta testers on the production environment uncovered numerous issues that internal QA would never have found -- allowing a small developer like me to deliver a polished multiplayer shooter on Android,” says Ernest Woo, founder and CEO, Woo Games. “Furthermore, carefully listening to everyone’s feedback made ErnCon into a much better game -- an indie shooter the entire community can be proud of.”

Everyone can build and publish games on Android. To stay true to the platform’s DIY spirit, here’s what Woo Games learned from the open beta:

•The initial mission lengths, 10 minutes, were too long for mobile play. They have been reduced to 4 minutes in the latest build; future mission lengths will be in the 3-5 minute range

•UI animations are “pretty” only the first time you see them. Unnecessary UI animations have been removed to facilitate navigation through the Shop. Less is more!

•Even though ErnCon is designed to appeal to hardcore players, open beta participants asked for more refined social gameplay. The final build makes it easier to message others, find and ally with friends, and meet new players

ErnCon is a free download. To install the game on your Android phone, visit https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.amorph.erncon or search for “ErnCon” on Google Play.

About Ernest Woo, Founder & CEO

With a desire to innovate on the promising Android platform, Ernest entered the Android Developer Challenge 2 in 2008 with his first Android title, FRG -- which became a top 20 finalist in the Action & Arcade category. Since this promising start, Ernest has developed games for various other platforms including a lit pressure-sensitive dance floor at LightSpace Corporation and smartphone browsers at MocoSpace.

Ernest fell in love with games on the legendary Commodore 64 when he was eight years old. Inspired by the Atari VCS/2600, NES, and PC, he realized that making games was his true calling. In high-school, for example, Ernest surprised his entry-level programming class with the precursor of ErnCon, a 1-on-1 space shooter based on Star Control. You may find Ernest crossing the continental U.S. and occasionally traveling to Japan to compete in Street Fighter IV tournaments.

Magnet Racer An Attractive Android Game

Magnet Racer by Harris Studios is a new puzzle-based physics game (for Android) where players are tasked with cleverly placing protons and electrons to move an atop around obstacles and into the vortex. Each hand-crafted level takes careful planning and thought. While the solutions may not be obvious at first, determined players will prevail.

The free version comes with a handful of different levels to choose from. Harris Studios has also chosen to bring two additional elements (pun intended) to the table to delight players. First, there is a level creator that enables players to create their own levels which essentially amounts to endless fun. However, the full version of Magnet Racer is required in order to save the custom levels. Don't hold that against the studio though, they're already giving you a great value for the low low price of free!

Finally, we're proud to announce that both the free and full versions of Magnet Racer include global leaderboards that allow players to compete around the world. The leaderboards are elegantly implemented and add a nice social dynamic to an otherwise single player experience. The leaderboards are powered by Swarm, a software development kit for Android game developers.

So what are you waiting for? Checkout the gameplay video of Magnet Racer, and then download this great physics creation from Google Play!
